Rachel Pinson

Attorney

Rachel has been a practicing attorney in central Alabama since 2009 primarily handling family law and criminal defense. She thrives in courtroom environments and is always eager to take on a new challenge. Rachel handles all family law issues including divorce, custody, child support, visitation, adoption, and dependencies working as both a guardian ad litem and a parent's and custodian's attorney. Rachel has also represented criminal defendants at all stages within the justice system and was named to the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel for the Northern District of Alabama in 2025.

Rachel is a graduate of both the National Criminal Defense College at the Roger Williams University School of Law and the Juvenile Training Immersion Program at Georgetown Law. She is also Merit Award winner of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer Association where she is a lifetime member. Rachel is from Talladega County and attended the Alabama School of Math and Science before pursuing her bachelor's degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and receiving her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.

When not practicing, Rachel enjoys traveling with her daughter, Caroline, volunteering with multiple theater companies around Birmingham, and playing various instruments with the Crestwood Community Band and Homewood Pops!
