The American Society of Legal Advocates 40 under 40 Top 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022

Mecca leads the firm's Georgia practice, representing clients in every corner of the state. Now in her fifteenth year of practice, she devotes her work to auto and truck wreck cases and catastrophic personal injury. Over the course of her career, Mecca has helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars for injured people and their families across Georgia. In every case, Mecca works hand in hand with the firm's Birmingham trial team, bringing her Georgia clients the strength and resources of a powerhouse multi-state trial firm.

Mecca began her legal career at the Supreme Court of Georgia. She went on to become a trial lawyer at some of Atlanta's most prominent litigation firms, including The Cochran Firm and The Summerville Firm, where she handled cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, gun violence, and complex civil disputes. She has practiced at every level of court in Georgia, and her experience spans both sides of the courtroom, including service as a prosecutor in Fulton County, where she led trial teams and trained new attorneys.

Mecca serves as an Associate Professor of Legal Practice at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where she prepares the next generation of Georgia lawyers for practice.

When she is not in the courtroom or the classroom, Mecca is at home in Atlanta enjoying cooking and hosting, traveling, live music, long walks on the Beltline with her dog, MJ, and time with her daughter, Layla.

Mecca's philosophy is simple: an exceptional result deserves an exceptional experience. From the first consultation to the final resolution, she prepares every case as if it will be tried and treats every client as a partner in the process. You will always know where your case stands, what comes next, and why. That is the experience Mecca has delivered for fifteen years.

Mecca is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
